Academics are our primary concern. Your fraternity experience will in no doubt benefit you academically. National statistics have shown Greeks are more likely to graduate than non-Greeks. Provided by our Educational Foundation, every new member of Sigma Pi receives our Study Guide For Academic Success, in addition to scholarship assistance from local scholarship programs established by each chapter and colony. We also honor members with at least a 3.25 GPA who maintain excellence in college academics while making positive contributions to their chapter, campus and community through the Sigma Pi All-Collegiate Honors.

The Sigma Pi Educational Foundation, originally known as the Byron R. Lewis Educational Fund, was established to further the educational objectives of Sigma Pi. The purpose: to assist and supplement the work of colleges in the educational development of students; to assist needy and deserving students to complete their education; and to aid aged or disabled former students who are in need or worthy of assistance.

Today, the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation sponsors awards given new members, actives and chapters for academic excellence. Educational grants are made annually to worthy Grand Chapter Programs such as Sigma Pi University, the Mid-Year Leadership Conference and the Sigma Pi Educational Leadership Consultant Program. Scholarships can range in size from $250 to over $1,000, both based on outstanding leadership and/or academic excellence.
